ENVIRONMENT
The engines fitted to the 207 are in keeping with Peugeot's policy aiming to reduce engine capacity and fuel consumption without compromising on performance. The HDi engines benefit from second generation common rail high-pressure direct injection systems.
The results of Peugeot's commitment
For many years, Peugeot has been an innovator when it comes to thinking of the future. Since 2007, Peugeot has taken things to the next level by endeavoring to qualify its commitment towards future generations as part of the "Blue Lion®" initiative. • Since the year 2000, Peugeot has sold almost 2,000,000 private vehicles equipped with a FAP (Particle Filter). • In 2008, Peugeot strengthened its position as the European* leader in the segment of vehicles emitting less than 120g of CO2/km with a 15.4 % market share. Therefore, in 2008, one car in every 6 cars sold in Europe*, and emitting less than 120g of CO2/km, was a Peugeot. • All of the brand’s vehicles are built in factories with ISO 14001 certification and are designed to be 95% recyclable at the end of life. *Europe 14 countries - source A.A.A – March 2009.

207 99g
The 207 Hatch is fitted with a Diesel 1.6 HDi 90 hp FAP engine and 5-speed manual gearbox that emits only 99g of CO2/km, making this version the most environmentally friendly in the 207 model range in terms of CO2 emissions.
Gear change display
This display* assists you in making a contribution towards the environment by assisting you to select the most suitable gear at any given time and to achieve the lowest possible fuel consumption. *Available on Euro 5 engines.
Energy-saving tyres
The design of the tyres that may be fitted to the 207 reduce rolling resistance and therefore reduce the quantity of fuel required to drive the vehicle, whilst retaining grip.
