ABS / ESP Technology
The braking system on the Peugeot 308 includes anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brake distribution (REF) and emergency brake assistance (AFU). Added to these three systems is ESP (active stability control) contributing traction control (ASR) and stability control (CDS).
Airbags
The latest generation of engine technology, combined with the aerodynamic profile of the car, weight control and even the use of Michelin energy-saving tyres have enabled the 308 to improve its efficiency towards environment.
AFIL Technology
The Lane Departure Warning System (AFIL) detects any non-intentional change of track at speeds above 80 km/h and emits a warning via a vibrator located in the seat cushion of the Peugeot 308.
EuroNCAP
The Peugeot 308 obtained 5 stars in the Euro NCAP* tests for the protection of adult vehicle occupants, which is the level of "excellent" and the maximum that it is possible to achieve.
